CW's The Flash Introduces Grodd
In the last couple of episodes of CW's the Flash, we got our first look at the shows version of long standing Flash villain, Gorilla Grodd. The show has so far managed to make amazing, realistic effects on its low budget, and this 7' tall behemoth is no exception. As with many of the villains on the show, Grodd has a different origin than the comics. Instead of being a member of a race of super intelligent apes, Grodd is now a normal gorilla that gained his telepathic abilities from the particle accelerator explosion. It hasn't been confirmed, but it seems that Dr. Wells purposely had Grodd exposed to the explosion, so that Grodd could serve some sort of purpose. The Flash is currently on break, but when it returns expect to see more of Gorilla Grodd!

Batman V. Superman Update
An earlier post on this movie was a bunch of gibberish and speculation. This time I'll try to just use speculation.
WHAT WE KNOW:
Batman and Superman will fight!
Wonder Woman will be in this!
This movie will set up all later DC superhero movie- wait. What?
Marvel spent years leading up to the Avengers and giving all their characters solo films so we could get to know their characters. DC is just shoving a Justice League prequel down our throats and hoping that it will make us want to see the they're later movies. This is wrong. You don't build pyramids pointy side down, and you don't give us a superhero team-up movie before the solo films. DC says that Wonder Woman and Flash movies is in the oven, hopefully Batman, Green Lantern, Aquaman*, and Cyborg movies too, so why not give us those first, then Batman V. Superman, then Justice League. Also, how has a Shazam movie been confirmed before any of the ones mentioned in the previous sentence?! Anyway, what I'm saying is, I don't have high hopes for this film, but maybe I'm wrong. Batman V. Superman, no pressure.
*(Don't laugh, I explain his amazing-ness HERE)

Flash Review
The Flash has almost reached its mid season finally, so I think it's about time to write a review. So far, we've seen Barry Allen go up against many of his signature baddies, such as Weather Wizard, Captain Cold, Plastique, and the Mist, and learn how to better use his powers. Not even half way through the season, The Flash is running up vertical surfaces, across water, and punching the iron of a meta's face. If you haven't watched the show, you won't get that.
Then there is the Professor Zoom thing. It's obviously Dr. Wells. He can actually walk, he stabs people, and has a subscription to a newspaper from the future! It's almost as if they WANT us to think he is Prof- Wait, that's it! They want us to think he is Prof. Zoom, so when they reveal he's not, we're surprised! Or maybe they just think we're oblivious. Either way, looking forward to talking about the Flash/Arrow special!
Oh, by the way, looking forward to seeing the Atom, Firestorm, Killer Frost,Mirror Master, and Cap. Boomerang. I know they're coming, but not when.

Man of Steel 2? Batman vs. Superman? JUSTICE LEAGUE!?
You may have heard that the Man of Steel sequel will feature Batman, but did you know it may also feature Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Doomsday, Lex Luthor, the Flash, and Martian Manhunter? This supposed Batman vs. Superman movie is beginning to look more like the plot from the game Injustice: Gods Among Us!
As for the heroes, if this does turn out to be the Justice League movie, it looks like it will be using the league from the animated series with Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Martian Manhunter, and Hawkgirl, as opposed to the New 52 league which replaces Martian Manhunter and Hawkgirl with Cyborg and Aquaman. It may also be a mixture of the two. Or it could be Batman and Superman fighting, which, when you think about it, would be boring since there would be no villain.
On the topic of Doomsday and Lex Luthor, which will be the main villain? I doubt that they are trying to repeat Spider-Man 3 (I'll looking at you Amazing Spider-Man 2), so you would think there would be a MAIN villain. Maybe Lex creates Doomsday, maybe Lex is just a bystander, maybe they will cut out one of them, but I doubt they will BOTH be major villains.

Justice League: the Flashpoint Paradox Review
This movie was awesome and followed the graphic novel very closely. I was surprised how well justin Chambers played the Flash! If you want to hear more about the movie, check out another review by Screen Rant.

Justice League: the Flashpoint Paradox
This new animated movie is based on the graphic novel Flashpoint. It will feature Justin Chambers as the Flash, Micheal B. Jordan as Cyborg, and Kevin McKidd as Thamos Wayne/Batman. They say that the movie will stay true to the comic, but "they" say a lot of things. Peace out and, yes, I think that the Micheal Jordan doing the voice of Cyborg does also play basketball for the NBA

Old Toys: Stroy w/ a Moral
About 7 years ago, I started buying this small action figures of heroes and villains in the DC Universe. I even had two of some. One of these was the Flash. A year ago I found that the Flash I played with as a kid was worth $25 in-package. Go figure.
